PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia Tbk is now opening for three positions. PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF AeroAsia) is the largest aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider in Indonesia. A spin-off of Garuda Indonesia, it operates out of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta and provides integrated aviation and industrial services to global clients in over 70 countries.

1. FACILITY ENGINEER

Job Description

As a Facility Engineer at PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF), you will be responsible for developing and implementing engineering solutions, maintenance programs, and improvement initiatives to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient facility and equipment operations. The role involves maintenance planning, project execution, technical problem-solving, stakeholder coordination, and asset performance optimization to support operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibility

  • Develop and implement maintenance programs, engineering solutions, and project plans to ensure reliable and efficient facility operations.
  • Monitor equipment performance, conduct technical investigations, and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Lead and drive corrective actions to improve equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop maintenance schedules and manage manpower, materials, and resource requirements to support maintenance and project activities.
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation, specifications, engineering drawings, work instructions, and project records.
  • Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and timely issue resolution.
  • Prepare and present project progress, maintenance performance, and technical reports to support management decision-making and continuous improvement.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum D4/S1 in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Plumbing, Building Management, Environmental Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Facility / Utility related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (2D/3D).
  • Familiar with maintenance planning and facility management systems.
  • Proficient in technical software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ArchiCAD, Revit, or SAP2000.

2. AIRCRAFT QUALITY INSPECTOR

Job Description

As an Aircraft Quality Inspector at PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF), you will play a critical role in ensuring that all aircraft maintenance activities are performed in accordance with applicable aviation regulations, customer requirements, manufacturer instructions, and GMF quality standards. You will serve as an independent quality representative responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and verifying maintenance activities throughout the maintenance process to ensure aircraft safety, reliability, and continued airworthiness.

Key Responsibility

  • Inspect, monitor, and control aircraft maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify that maintenance work is performed in accordance with authority regulations, customer requirements, manufacturer instructions, and GMF standards.
  • Ensure the serviceability and airworthiness of aircraft, engines, and components through effective quality inspections and oversight.
  • Monitor maintenance personnel performance and provide recommendations to maintain compliance with approved procedures and quality standards.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum D3 in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, aircraft quality inspection, quality assurance, continuing airworthiness, or related aviation technical functions.
  • Hold a minimum of two Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) categories from A1, A2, and A4, or possess all C categories (C1, C2, and C4).
  • Holds a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL) or equivalent aviation maintenance certification.
  • Completion of Aircraft Type Training such as B737 Series, B777 Series, A320 Family, A330 Series, ATR 72 Series, Bell-412, or other relevant aircraft types.
  • Familiarity with CASR/FAR/EASA Part 145 or Military Authority Regulation.
  • Experience within commercial aviation, military aviation, MRO, or aerospace organizations will be an advantage.

3. AIRCRAFT CABIN CONTROLLER

Job Description

As an Aircraft Cabin Controller at PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF), you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling aircraft cabin appearance, cleanliness, and maintenance quality. This role focuses on ensuring that the quality of aircraft interior and exterior conditions meets customer expectations, company standards, and regulatory requirements while supporting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibility

  • Conduct inspections and monitoring of aircraft cabin appearance, cleanliness, and quality standards.
  • Supervise aircraft interior and exterior cleaning activities to ensure compliance with operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address inspection findings, defects, and corrective actions.
  • Review maintenance plans, schedules, manuals, and technical documentation to support operational activities.
  • Maintain inspection records, performance reports, and quality-related documentation.
  • Monitor the implementation and closure of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage customer feedback and complaints, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Utilize maintenance information systems and company applications for recording, monitoring, and reporting purposes.
  • Analyze cabin appearance performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and issue performance reports, quality findings, and management updates.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum D4/S1 in Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Hotel Management, or related fields.
  • Min. 3 years experience as Cabin Crew / Cabin Technician or Min. 3 years experience as Hotel / Cruise industry professional.
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance, inspection, quality, and safety standards is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation.
  • Proficient in computer and maintenance information systems.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when needed.
